Blair A. Roark, age 62, of Spring Lake died Monday, Jan. 30, 2017, at home.

Blair had a beautiful smile that would light up a room.  Those who were blessed enough to be in his life would tell you all about his hearty, infectious laugh.  Blair radiated so much positive energy to all those around him. Blair’s stepchildren, Chris, Dave and Julie/Troy, all looked up to Blair as a positive role model.  His family was his number one priority. He could be described as kind, generous, loving and lighthearted by those around him.  A man who lived life his way, Blair can rest peacefully with no regrets. He loved all and was truly loved by all.

Blair was an outstanding wood worker. He was proud of his work, rightfully so.  He was meticulous and produced nothing less than perfection due to his extremely talented abilities. Along with being a talented wood worker, Blair also made an incredible marinara sauce and spaghetti. He was able to explore every mile of the United States in his beloved Peterbilt semi truck (hence his company name “Blairbilt Woodworking”).  On the side, Blair was skilled at motorcycle repair and loved the adventure of the open road through riding.  Yes, Blair will be missed, but he left us with many great memories to cope with his passing.

He may have passed to early from this life, but his work will very likely stand the test of time…
